Rick and Morty was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon , their first episode releasing on December 2, 2013. It is a sci-fi, rowdy show for science geeks or even just people trying to have a laugh at dark humor. It brings many controversies because of how dark the humor can get. The show was based on a series of crudely animated short films for Channel 101 based on a Back to the Future parody "The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti" by Justin Roiland.

The plot of the show is confusing, but as we continue to watch we see the plot spill out of its container. Rick Sanchez, one of the main characters, after going missing for nearly 20 years, suddenly arrives at his daughter Beth’s house looking to move in with her and her family. Beth being damaged by being left but ecstatic that he’s come back to her, welcomes him with open arms but her witty, self pity, wallowing, husband Jerry isn’t too thrilled about the reunion, as Ricks arrival serves to shakes things up around the household. He converts their garage into his own laboratory and gets to work on all sorts of sci-fi gadgets. It wouldn’t be so bad if not for the fact that Rick continues to involve his grandchildren Morty and Summer in his insane adventures.

In my clip, Rick and Morty appear normally in his garage fixing a defibrillator but the scene is quickly cut by them exploding and dying. Then comes another Rick and Morty (the original) through his teleportation gun. In the series it’s always said how there are and infinite amount of realities and dimensions. Well what Rick did was he found a reality where everything gets back to normal but they die around the time everything is normal. This creates a gap where he can slip into said “reality” with Morty and live as if that was their reality all along. In the clip Morty obviously being new to this, completely freaks out, shouting about the dead bodies in front of him, like any normal person would. But Rick seems very calm and normal about it, he grabs Morty’s face and slaps him and tells him how it’s okay. He says a joke about Hitler so Morty understands how little this will really affect the reality.
