Storage Box Company Ltd is the name given to a of business to be owned by 5 skilled Tanzanian people namely Nikupala Tuswege, Kamala Shani, Mwelesi Hamisi Rugumamu Julieth and Judith Usangira. We offer Storage service of different kinds of confidential documents like, Academic Certificates, Birth Certificate, Share Certificates, Title Deed, Contracts and so on in secured manner and provide an alternative means for protection of people's important documents. It is new company in Tanzania

President is Mwelesi Hamisi and Vice President of Sales and Marketing is Mrs. Shani Kamala these are majority shareholders.

We dedicate ourselves to provide a suitable and acceptable storage service to our clients by using advanced technology facilities in a standardised storage rooms equipped with secured instruments. We believe in law basis, confidentiality and carefulness as a mechanism of promoting our customers to build a trust on us. Customisation is our pillar.

This involves the provision of safe custody of the confidential and important documents to different customer groups.

Marketing and Sales Techniques

Penetration and Promotion strategies are the main strategies which will be used in entering the market. Even though market for our is not saturated but extensive promotion is highly needed in order to create customer awareness and charge very price at the beginning in to attract many customers. These will make our Company to break even and make super profit in the near future

The Competition

Currently our businesses have no any competitor in Tanzania but we expect to have competitor after some few years.

Target Market

Graduates are at having a high demand for safe custody of their academic certificates and school certificates. High demand is raised from the fact that their life style involves tenanting in different rent houses with frequent shifts.

Operations

The business will be operating in Dar es Salaam city the reasons being the target market is located in Dar es Salaam, lately the extension will to all over the country.

Will be having two buildings, where by the one is for administration purpose and the other for storage. These building will be separated; the administration will be in the city centre while the storage room will be out of the city centre. The storage room will be out city because of space and security.

Management

Management consist of highly skilled personnel with extensive knowledge from various discipline of management such as Accounting, Financing, Human Resource Management, Economics and Procurement

Financials

Sales will grow by 8%, we expect to buildup customers come from Universities and Collage after completion of their studies. Also, the number of new customers generated by our promotional activity will also build up during the year; this trend is expected to continue for next three years.

We have plan to charge price of Tshs.50,000 for Business Customers, Tshs.30,000 to Employees/Graduates and Tshs.40,000 to Land lords as annual subscription fees.

Funds Sought and Utilization

The Cash Flow projections for Year One shows that after the owner have put in Tshs.150 million, the business will also need additional long-term financing of about Tshs.100 million.

The storage room(s) will be a strong room meaning that, highly protected and not easily catches fire, affected by natural hazards, theft and any other of the kind. At the mean time the operation will start in Dar es Salaam and later the coverage will be all over the country in rural and urban areas.
