ANSWER 1:

AngelFrills picked up the following advertisement:-

1. Google AdWords- On entering particular popular keywords, their ad used to get displayed

2. Display Advertising:- Angelfrills.com focuses on creating their own contents too and posting on the page which were posted by their potential customers.

3. Email Marketing: - They focused on email marketing wherein they used to send newsletter to potential customers including the push notifications and personalized email alerts if someone added a product in a cart but didn’t order.

ANSWER 2:

Different components of digital marketing underaken by Angelfrills.com and major observations from each of them:

1. Search engine optimization through on-page and off-page optimization

Indexing was done through Google webmasters. On-page optimization included putting XML sitemap, meta keyword, good quality contents on the website whereas off-page optimization included participation in forum, link submissions, mobile SEO, optimizing for Google Amp, keyword reference.

2. Search Engine marketing through Google Adwords:

 Angelfrills.com selected the most effective keywords by tracking the most effective keywords that visitors are clicking on, frequency of customer’s visit, CTR on company’s advertisements, and by publishing the ad on Google’s Ad networks.

  • It helps marketing team analyse the cost in relation to keywords that they bid on. It helps to promote website in a better way by selecting keywords which can provide highest clicks and CTR resulting in higher conversions.

3. Social media optimization through Display advertising

Angelfrills.com focuses on creating their own contents too and posting on their pages of Facebook whose performance is analysed as below:

  • We have been provided with reach and engagements of 5 recent post of Angelfrills.com from which we can observe that recent post with tags like #angelfrills are getting more reach , although reactions is low post clicks on those posts from which we can infer that post may not be highly appealing to users.
  • We can also observe that with the increase in posts, actions on page, page views, pages likes, reach and post engagements have increased significantly i.e. has almost got doubled.
  • Demographics of new users who like their page have been explained where we can see that woman are the major followers of this page and most of them belon to India and speak U.S. English.
  • Another thing was that the major followers were from age 18 to 34 which accounts for around 60 % whereas its target segment is parents of young children (35-44) where there have not been able to make their presence felt.
