Introduction:

1.Background information

  With the development of times, the idea of people also in constant development. More and more people can understand gay this minority group. Besides, China is a populous country. According to the latest reports, more than thirty million of the group is active. So the question should be given enough attention.

1. Reason for Research

 As we know,love has no gender, love has no labels.Everyone has the right to pursue their own happiness .I hope this study will be able to figure out the degree of college students to accept homosexuality and the same-sex marriage.

3.The definition of the relevant

Same-sex marriage, also known as gay marriage, is marriage between people of the same sex, either as a secular civil ceremony or in a religious setting.(From Wikipedia)

4.Proposal Question

Focus on the following aspects of the big topic-do college students think same-sex marriage should be legalised in China. In this question, my main body of research is college students , which reduce the scope of research, making the results more convincing.

1. Methodology

 In this research,I will use questionnaire survey to support my view.

First, large amounts of information can be collected from a large number of people in a short period of time and in a relatively cost effective way.

Second,the results of the questionnaires can usually be quickly and easily quantified by either a researcher or through the use of a software package.

Some relevant references will be shown in the next section -literature review.So this section is not specified in detail.

1. Limitations of resraech

The data of the survey come from the internet，unlike a study in which the researcher is interviewing a subject, online surveys depend on people to be honest about basic demographic information such as age, gender and race. Since people are not always honest, this can create inaccuracy in the data.

The information that is involved:

1.The meaning of same-sex marriage

Gay marriage in the narrow sense refers to the true meaning of the institution of marriage, same-sex marriage has been legally recognized, not only with the same name and heterosexual marriage, same-sex couples and heterosexual couples can enjoy exactly the same rights.

Gay marriage in the broad sense means that the law adopts some system to regulate the relationship of same-sex couples, and gives same-sex couples part or whole spouse rights through registration and other procedures.

1. The same-sex marriage legislation

First, Share of "partner" legislation mode.Under the "companion type" legislative mode, the special registration authority will register the homosexual who have common will to live, and protect their lawful rights without interference and discrimination by the third.

Second,Share "marriage" legislation mode .The legislative mode of marriage is by directly modifying the legal definition about marriage and relevant content and law of the relevant part of marriage, will no longer be limited to both heterosexual men and women both sides, which will open the civil marriage system to homosexuals, marriage and family rights that homosexuals and heterosexuals enjoy the same.

Third,Share of "progressive" legislative model.These two different legislative models "progressive" legislative model of temporary does not give the same sex combined with the same or similar heterosexual marriage spouse rights or legal status, it gives the same sex combined is only part of the rights and guarantees enjoyed by heterosexual couples. When the system, environment and people's acceptance are ripe, the laws and regulations of same-sex marriage which are similar to the marriage law should be drawn up.
