• 1992- Since the studio was so popular, Disney announced that it will double its size

• 1988- the company announced plans for Splash Mountain at Disneyland.

• 1985- Eisner announced a collaboration with George Lucas

• 1992- Disney expects to develop 10,000 more hotel rooms.

• 1990- Disney announced a proposal to develop the Long Beach Site as the center for a Disney Sea Theme Park

• December 1985- Eisner announced the decision to build what became a $2.1 billion Euro Disney theme park and resort complex.

• 1987- Disney signed a 10-year agreement with Sears to develop clothing and toys.
