The venture is a startup business. It will be owned and managed by one individual, Mikelle Cooper. Mikelle is currently a photographer (freelance and limett). She is also a freelance graphic designer and manages two social media pages, Panland and Trinidad Powder Coaters.

Venture description

Trinidad Treasures is a social media establishment whose principal activity involves entertaining and educating viewers about landscape, food, fashion, activities, nightlife, festivals, historical structures, wildlife and many more amenities in Trinidad's culture, on a very constant basis.

The services offered are geared towards satisfying both tourists and local businesses. It will create an environment for tourists and locals to explore Trinidad's most treasured amenities, up, close and personal, conveniently under one page through photos and reviews. Clients' which will include (businesses) heightened focus is on the page's traffic/popularity which will determine their exposure, and quality of content execution (how well the clients are represented ).

Venture organization

The company will operate under the name "Trinidad Treasures". The business operation will be twofold. The first segment will be achieving all over the country photography, data, and clientele for pages attained. There is no need for specific management at this stage as the founder Mikelle Cooper will be the photographer, designer, and operator of the page. Mikelle has completed both photography and marketing courses (among many others) as a part of the UTT Visual Communications Design Programme curriculum. She was sensitize of the emerging demand for a social media page that offers great imagery/articles for non-Trinbagonians wanting to explore Trinidad, and all of the island's treasures. Trinidad Treasures will be ultimately poised to realize significant benefits from Mikelle's experience in social media (businesses), as it will provide the vision, drive and clientele necessary to successfully launch the company.

Venture market

The target market for generating popularity includes tourists and patriotic locals. However, the target market for the advertising services will be local businesses such as, restaurants, nightclubs, outdoor services, fashion designers etc. Ideally, these clients are desirous of reaching out to international consumers visiting or planning to visit.
