Cover: We have heard about the exploitation of land, labour as companies choose to produce goods at the lowest costs possible. As buyers, we tend to look at goods that are the best quality at the lowest prices. We as consumers do not actually know what is the actual price we should pay for the goods that we bought, and whether is it environmentally sustainable in the long term.
Slide 2: Fair Trade is about recognizing this problem we consumers face. Are we paying the right price for sustainable farming or the price we paid is simply destroying our land and eating up into our precious resources?
