Processes:

The flow of information and decisions inside an organisation defines the processes. This flow can be either vertical or horizontal and also vary from one organisation to another. These also vary depending on the business model the organisation choses.

Amorepacific always took great pride in putting customers as their first priority. This, in turn, was implemented into all the processes and decisions made. Hence in 2008, the company took a more customer-oriented approach to the processes implemented and decisions made. The employees were urged to think in a more customer-oriented way too. Over the next 10 years, Amorepacific saw constant changes within the processes and decisions and how they were carried out. The organisation taking into account all the different contributors to the company and not just the customers. Therefore in 2017, along with their customer-oriented approach, the company also began to take a more employee-oriented approach too creating a better work environment so decision making becomes easier and flow of work between the hierarchy becomes more efficient.

Rewards:

Organisations utilise a rewards system to make sure that the goals of the employees align with those of the shareholders, and in turn, the company. Through this system, organisations can use appropriate incentives to motivate the employees to work to ensure strategic plans are fulfilled.

Amorepacific implemented a system where the employees get motivated to work through a reward system designed to reward them based on their performance and assure them a satisfactory workplace. This was one of the assurances given to anyone who was taken as a part of the organisations. This was to ensure that the motivated employees have an appropriate space to work in. In addition to such reward systems, in 2017, the company introduced various support programs such as ones to support employees with health risks, providing first aid training, obesity and quit-smoking support etc. Amorepacific also increased the amount of performance-based incentives given out to their employees. The organisation also maintains various trust funds for the sake of the welfare of its employees.
