Self-Motivation

After complete the self-motivation assessment test, I got total score as 33 which shows that I’m doing well on self-motivation but still need more to increase my motivation factors. There are four factors in self-motivation and I will show my analysis of these four areas results below:

The first area is Self-confidence and self-efficacy and I got 11 out 20 for this area. This score shows me that I might be lack of self-efficacy because I rarely put in maximum efforts or try harder when I occur a setback during achieving my goals. However, the results show I had a great self-confidence that I believe myself can succeed. This is a good thing to push myself hard work for those successes. The second area is Positive Thinking about the future and it is actually my strength which I got the score 14 out of 20. To become successful, the attitudes are everything which is the key factor to decide the future of my life. I’m very satisfy the score of this area which allow me to know my strengths and aware I have a positive attitude to face my future and always keep positive attitude in my mind to make my life better. In addition, having the positive thinking can help me to deal with those negative thoughts and create a strong picture for better achieving my goals. The third area is focus and strong goals and this area can be my weakness area which I only got 3 out of 10. The reason why I failed to this area is because my goals didn’t have a clear direction, didn’t focus on the main objectives that I was trying to achieve and the most important thing is that I didn’t give myself much regularity of feedback. According to those reasons, setting a goal is a challenge for me and these reasons are the key factors which made me failed to focus my goals. For instance, my baggiest challenge is setting goals for each semester to achieve higher GPA, such as never miss any assignments, at least have 8 hours for study, read a book every day and so on. At the end of semester, I didn’t achieve any of them because my goal didn’t have a clear direction for me to follow and I lack of autorhythmicity that I couldn’t monitor my progress until finish my goals. In the future, I would change a way to set up my goals by writing a clear and easy achieved plan for me. The fourth area is motivating environment, I got5 out of 10. To better improve this area, I would prefer to join the team work and found something interest for me to get better grades.
