Federigo’s Falcon Summary

Federigo lost all his fortune trying to impress the woman he was in love with, he was only left with a farm and a falcon. Monna Giovanna is the woman Federigo has been in with but, she does not feel the same way about him. She got married to a wealthy man and had a son with him. After her husband dies she goes with her son to the country every summer to one of their states closes to Federigo’s farm. Monna’s son becomes friend with Federigo and after seeing his falcon he wishes it were his own.

The boy becomes ill and has one request to her mother that if she could get him Federigo’s falcon, he says he will get well quickly.
